Step By Step
-
Step 1
Boil your kettle whilst you get started, you will need 200g of water per cup required.
-
Step 2
Using our Ground Future Self Coffee, add 12g for each cup of coffee needed into your French Press.
-
Step 3
Once your water has boiled, leave it to rest for 1 minute, then start to gently pour water over the coffee. We suggest pouring only 50g of water to start & leave the coffee to rest for 30 seconds, then continue with the rest of your water.
-
Step 4
Gently place the lid of the French Press on, without pushing down on the coffee, & leave to rest for 4 minutes.
-
Step 5
Once 4 minutes have passed, a top tip from our barista is to gently swirl the French Press to distribute the coffee & wait for a further 30 seconds.
-
Step 6
Now your coffee has rested, the lid of your French Press is ready to be pressed. Push down slowly & gently to just over half way. Do not press the plunger right to the bottom.
-
Step 7
Pour your coffee into your favourite mug & enjoy. Best served immediately to avoid a bitter taste from over brewing.
